We will take you to the areas with the best viewing potential for the night, away from city light pollution, even to Finland if necessary.
Enjoy a campfire with marshmallows and cup of hot chocolate in the wilderness, while our expedition leader will tell you some interesting stories from the north and legends about lady Aurora. Also you will have a chance to try "made in Tromso" soup, tailored for arctic expeditions, which will keep you warm from the inside. You will get also thermal suit to survive in cold temperatures.
After the tour, you'll receive photos taken by our expedition leader, capturing the highlights of your adventure and your portraits with Aurora, but of course, we can also help you with your camera/smartphone settings.

We can drive in area of 200km around Tromso to find good spots to observe the northern lights. Sometimes we can drive not so far from the city, but be prepared that sometimes we need to drive even towards Finland. We have experience with local weather and good contact network with other guides that helps us find clear sky - a prerequisite to see the Northern Lights.
we meet in front of the hotel main entrance, our expedition leaders are usually there 5 minutes before departures and you will recognize them by our logo "The Green Adventure".
• A current valid passport is required on the day of travel, sometimes we are crossing the border with Finland, for such occasion you should have with you passport/ID.
• we also need to prepare for you proper size of thermal suit, so please inform us about your sizes (similar like your winter jacket)
• please write us a message regarding your food allergies or if you are vegan/vegetarian
• be aware that access to proper toilets in Norwegian wilderness is very limited, sometimes even impossible. We highly recommend to use any toilet before a tour, because in many spots we don't have access to toilets during winter time.
• Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.
