About this experience

Estância Mimosa offers its visitors an interpretive trail amidst the forest stopping by eight waterfalls of all sizes and shapes, where you can swim in natural pools. The trail is done in small groups guided by a local specialist guide. Along the way, there are small caves, a diving platform and viewpoints with privileged view to the mountains of the Bodoquena Mountain Range. Adventure of ecotourism with respect to the environment and regional culture!

The trail is done on a Private Reserve Area. The ranch has a certified Safety Management System for Ecotourism Activities and has won several national prizes for its environmental actions and quality of services.

Trail and waterfalls: 

The proposal of the trail and waterfalls tour at Estancia Mimosa is to have fun and enjoy nature. Small groups (up to 12 visitors), always accompanied by a specialized tour guide, cover 2,800 m of trail observing birds, different species of animals besides a wide variety of trees. Thie trail, which runs through the riparian forest of the Mimoso River, passes through beds of dry streams, small caves and eight waterfalls of varying sizes and shapes with great swimming places in natural pools. Each waterfall is unique. Fauna, flora and abundant water frame this whole scenario. During the trip there are four viewpoints, ideal stops to contemplate the privileged view of the Bodoquena Mountain Range.  

Bird Watching: 

An incredible opportunity for experienced "birdies" and beginners! Estancia Mimosa is a captivating destination for birdwatchers, the tour is accompanied by a specialized and bilingual guide. Located in a region of great environmental diversity, within the Cerrado Biome, Estância Mimosa has more than 250 registered bird species, including rare species. The observation tour is carried out near the lagoon, and in the forest and field areas early in the morning.   

Horseback ride: 

For those who want a greater interaction with nature and to know a little more about the local culture, Estancia Mimosa offers horseback riding through the forests and fields of the ranch. The activity is carried out in groups of up to eight visitors, always accompanied by an experienced guide who tells the stories of the region. With tame, well-trained horses, the ride offers all the safety you need for fun and quiet moments for both children and adults. Have unforgettable moments of contact with nature!
