At the national museum of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa travelers see variety of objects and archaeological findings including the famous Lucy. This museums gives a travelers highlight about Ethiopian history, culture and nature.

This is the most beautiful and important orthodox cathedral located in the center of the capital. Built by the last and prominent Ethiopian emperor Haile Sillasse in 1940s. The cathedral is dedicated for the most important Ethiopians and you will see the cemetery of many famous people including the emperor. There is a small church museum here where you can see old church treasurers.

This is the best place to have a panoramic view over Addis Ababa. The old capital was located on top of this mountains.

Mercato in Addis Ababa is the largest open air market in Africa. There are several sections in the market and simply you can find anything. This is also a cultural center where many people from different ethnic groups of Ethiopia come to buy and sell.

This museum is located inside the Addis Ababa University and it was a former palace of Emperor Haile Sillasse. Here you can see different objects from several ethnic groups of Ethiopia and the personal bed room of the emperor and his wife.

Located on top of Entoto Mountains, this was the old palace of Emperor Menelik who established Addis Ababa in 1887.
