O Mosteiro de Alcobaça, também conhecido como Real Mosteiro de Santa Maria de Alcobaça, é um mosteiro situado na cidade de Alcobaça, na região Oeste portuguesa. É a primeira obra plenamente gótica erguida em solo português, tendo sido começada a sua construção em 1178 pelos monges da Ordem de Cister.

A Nazaré é uma vila com forte tradição piscatória, onde se encontra uma das mais típicas praias da região Centro do país. A vila que atualmente conhecemos só existe desde o século XVIII, já que até essa altura, toda a zona baixa da vila estava coberta pelo mar que ali chegava. Apenas existia o Sítio onde se tem, hoje, uma magnífica vista para a praia. E o que visitar na Nazaré?

Todas as vilas piscatórias têm devoção mariana e a Nazaré não é exceção. Dos seus monumentos religiosos à sua avenida marginal, convidamo-lo a apreciar uma das mais típicas praias do Centro de Portugal e os seus encantos, respirando maresia.

Nazaré
Nazaré deve o seu nome a uma lenda segundo a qual teria sido aqui encontrada, uma imagem oriunda da terra natal da Virgem. Mas já lhe contamos tudo.

O mar é muito importante para a economia e para a cultura deste povo. Na verdade, a grande essência desta vila está relacionada com a pesca, apesar de hoje em dia o turismo ser a sua atividade principal.

Óbidos situa-se em plena região Oeste. Entre a serra e o mar é um dos locais mais procurados do Centro de Portugal e hoje sugerimos tudo o que pode visitar em Óbidos.

De origem romana, a vila de Óbidos deriva do latim opiddum, que significa “cidade fortificada”. Posteriormente ocupada por povos visigodos e muçulmanos, foi reconquistada pelo primeiro Rei de Portugal, D. Afonso Henriques, em 1148. As suas muralhas revelam ainda algumas marcas dos antigos povos que aqui se estabeleceram, bem no alto da colina, onde se avista de um lado, a lagoa de Óbidos e do outro o Aqueduto da Usseira.

Mas em Óbidos há muito mais que monumentos. Há uma vila literária para descobrir, cheia de cor, animação e tradições.
