Azerbaijan Travel International is pleased to present our guests Shamakhi-Gabala tour.
Baku-Gabala tour is a journey in which cities, regions, capitals, climatic zones and parts of the world change. After spending a day on this way, you get acquainted with the main feature of the nature of Azerbaijan – its rich diversity. And in addition to being close to nature, you get closer to the culture and history of Azerbaijan, as the road passes in the lands that have a wonderful past.
And the details are in the journey itself. What a miracle happened a thousand years ago in Qobustan, what is special about the technology of the ancient Shamakhi mosque, what Gabala looks like from a bird's-eye view, what is special about the taste of Sheki halva and much, much more will be learned by anyone who will make himself (and loved ones) a pleasant gift by purchasing the Baku-Gabala tour.

Shamakhi city is the ancient capital of the medieval state of Shirvan. In this city, one of the centers of Azerbaijani poetry and viticulture, guests will have an excursion to the Juma Mosque. Guests will find themselves in the walls of a grandiose architectural structure made according to ancient antiseismic technology. A visit to the first Muslim temple in the Caucasus, built in 743, will introduce tourists to the history of Islam in Azerbaijan and the history of the mosque itself. After that, they will go further along the road that stretches like a ribbon along the Mugan mountain Pass, classic for the Greater Caucasus, and leads to the northwest of Azerbaijan to Ismayilli.
13:30
Lunch in the mesmerizing Ismayilli forest. A relaxing break in a cozy forest restaurant brings a delicious highlight to the Baku–Gabala journey. Surrounded by trees, birdsong, and the scent of fresh mountain air, guests enjoy a three-course meal made from locally sourced, organic ingredients. The peaceful atmosphere and natural surroundings create the perfect setting for a tea ceremony under the canopy.
Well-fed and refreshed by the beauty of Ismayilli, the guests continue their journey — and the true climax of the tour still lies ahead.

The city of Gabala is the capital of the Gabala district. The city, which was in ancient times the capital of Caucasian Albania, and today is known as a ski resort, will welcome tourists on the territory of the most famous hotel in the region "Tufandag". Ski trails are located here and cable car cables are stretched over them, from which magnificent views of the mountains and the central part of the city open. The highest point of this exciting attraction is the peak of the Sleeping Beauty Mountain (Yatmysh Gezel), located at an altitude of about two thousand meters above the level of the world ocean.
17:00
The tour operator Azerbaijan Travel International is not limited to a trip by cable car in the city of Gabala. The next stop is a tea party in the House of Sweets, where our guests drink tea with all kinds of dessert dishes, tasting of which is included in the price of the tour.

Lake Nohur. A worthy end to the journey offered by the Baku-Gabala tour package is a stop on the shore of a colorful mountain lake. To characterize the acquaintance with him, one word is enough – pacification. Riding a catamaran on its mirrored surface or walking along its wooded shore will encourage any sad person to rethink existence and come to the conclusion that the world is really beautiful.
Half an hour later - on the way back by semi-express with a short rest in the city of Shamakhi.
One of the highlights of your journey will be a visit to the Seven Beauties Waterfall, located just a short drive from Gabala. Hidden in a lush green forest, this breathtaking natural wonder consists of seven cascading levels, each offering its own unique charm and stunning views.
As you ascend along the path, you’ll be surrounded by the sounds of rushing water, birdsong, and the fresh scent of the forest. While reaching the higher levels can be a bit challenging — especially after the fourth level, which requires climbing stairs — the panoramic views and serene atmosphere make it well worth the effort.
Along the way, there are charming local cafés where you can rest and enjoy traditional tea with a view.
This spot is a perfect escape into nature, where every moment feels like a scene from a fairy tale.
