Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

This self-guided walking tour game starts at the Fishmarket square in Bergen. Once you are there, open the app and start the Headless Horseman walking tour game.

You have come to this square to meet two people you've gotten to know through an online ghost hunter forum. They have invited you to join an investigation of the 200-year-old disappearance of Ichabod Crane. But, as you stand waiting, only one of your new friends show up at your meeting spot...

2
Stop 2

You and your companion head over to the building where Ichabod once lived, to see if you can find clues to his disappearance, and maybe find your friend.

The building also happens to be the former center point of Bergen. You can still find the marker outside the door.

3

You follow a lead from Ichabod's journal and visit the UNESCO world heritage site of Bryggen. While at the dock, you examine some of Ichabod's belongings.

4

You go to a small park tucked away behind Bryggen and meet a witness, who had a scary encounter with the Headless Horseman. You ask her some questions to find out more about how the ghost of the Horseman haunts Bergen.

5
Stop 5

You follow the witness' directions and make a stop at the lookout point where she heard the Headless Horseman. You help you friend set up ghost hunt equipment to try and record some strange noises...

6

Your friend is still missing, but you are desperately trying to find her. A cryptic message she sent to your companion leads to an address opposite the Bergen cathedral. You go there to search for something she might have left behind.

7

You reach the courtyard outside St Jørgens church. This seems to be the last location where Ichabod was seen, and traces from your friend lead you here as well. Maybe you will find something outside the church which will help clear up both disappearances?

8

You reach the final location and make a stop at the Festplassen square. There seem to be just one thing left for you to do...
