Crossing to another continent has never been made so easy. In on only one hour you will leave Europe with all its charm and comfort to the exotic continent of Africa. And yes, you will land right in the middle of old town where you will find only friendly faces welcoming you in Morocco!
The day starts with you retrieving your tickets at the port of Tarifa a 8.15am. The ferry leaves at 9am. Once on the board of ferry, you will enjoy amazing views right from the fairy tale-like town of Tarifa in Spain. After a short ride of only one hour where you will be crossing the famous straight of Gibraltar you will reach the old port of Tangier that is located very comfortably next to the old town.
Get off the ferry and 500 meters of walk you will be within the walled old town of Tangier. Immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of the souq (center), where you can have amazing options for a nice souvenir from Africa back home. Take pictures of the ancient buildings witnessing the long history of this north African port. Sit down in an authentic and charming cafe to sip on your tasty coffee or have a typical pepper mint tea, chat with the friendly locals, stroll up to the castle and enjoy views over the Atlantic Ocean, visit the famous cafe from where the Beatles used to chill out.
The day is not finished yet as you can go to visit Cap Spartel and cave of Hercules. If you have your doubts about being in Africa yet try to ride a camel right on the beach and move with the sound of the waves telling you that "yes, you made it to Africa in only one day"!
After a full day of happening walk back to the port to take your ferry back to Europe! The return time will be between 6 and 8pm depending on the availability. If you need next day or another time please let us know when you book. Otherwise, it will be 11 am from Spain and return the same day at 6 or 8pm.
