This' a long-day(16 hours) tour but worthwhile. It's customized for travelers whose time in China is limited but want to the world wonder at Terracotta Warriors & horses. The tour starts at early morning around 5:30 and 2 hours flight to Xian (home city of Terracotta Warriors ), transferred back to your Beijing hotel at around 10:30 at night.
Tours in Xian also including Ancient City Wall and Big Wild Goose Pogoda Square. This private trip includes Beijing airport/hotel private transfers, round-trip airfares, Xian tours with English-speaking guide and driver, Lunch in Xian and all entrance fees.
Pickup included
Hotel/apartment pick-up in the morning around 5:00am by a private vehicle. Transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Xi’an (2 hours flight). Your driver will help you with the check-in process and then send you to the security checkpoint.
Flight info: ongoing flight is between 7:30-8:10 in the morning, arrive at Xian is between 9:30-10:00. Free breakfast and dinner will be served on the airplane.
Upon arrival at the Xi’an airport, you will be met by our local guide (she/he will hold a sign with your name in the terminal lobby) and driver. From there you will immediately begin the tour. You will visit the famous Terra-cotta Warriors & horses and learn about their history and production.
Note: In order to make better understanding of this 2,000-year-old ancient wonder and how people find it in 1975, a short stop to a Cinemania will be arranged at the beginning, where you will watch a movie (15 minutes in English) about the history and stories of Terra-cotta Warriors & horses.
After visiting Terra-cotta Warriors & horses, a nice local lunch (not in a tourist restaurant, but a clean, nice and quiet local restaurant) will be served (included). Then we will drive to Xian City and visit the Ancient City Wall. You can either relax and walk on the city wall or cyling around (pay extra).
If time perimit, we will continue on our tour and see the square of Wild Goose Pagoda(outside). At the end of the day we will drive back to the airport to catch your flight back to Beijing. Our guide will help you with the check-in process; she/he will not leave until see you off to the security check.
Upon arrival at the Beijing airport, our driver will meet you, then return you to your hotel.
Returning flight is between 20:00-21:30, arrive at Beijing is between 21:40-23:00. (Major Big Airlines in China)
