There are 8 stops on this tour with plenty of food to make sure you do not need breakfast nor lunch nor dinner. You will start your day with some coffee, like the Italians do. Venice has a tradition that goes a long way back in time in making tasty pastries, and you will get to try some of the heavenly delicious pastries that the Venetian has to offer. After your sweet tooth has been satisfied, stroll through some wine bars and savor typical Venetian drinks accompanied by the famous cicchetti with lunch or dinner and learn how each dish is created.

Take a step back in time by visiting the oldest bacaro in Venice with us. You will hear the story as to why this atmospheric wine bar is said to have been a favourite place of the legendary lover Giacomo Casanova while you taste some of their best selling ciccheti, local Venetian snack. The bar still retains its old-world charm with wooden beams, copper pots, and standing-only counters where locals and travelers mingle over traditional food

On Venetian and Italian national holidays, the only language we offer is English ( example dates are: May 1st, August 14 and 15, December 24, 25, 31, Jan 1 to Jan 7) .
We are currently experiencing exceptionally high demand for our tours, so the tour could have up to 19 people. If the number of participants are more than 15 people, we will compensate it by giving you more food and wine. If you show up and see that the tour is larger than the stated maximum, and are not happy with it, we are happy to process a refund. A refund can only processed and YOU DO NOT PARTICIPATE in the tour. No refund could be processed if you decide to participate half way or in the tour at all. This could be communicated to the guide on the day of. We try to send an email reminders out to every one in case our bookings are over 15, but because we are experiencing a massive influx of messages and calls these days, we might miss some of the communication. By booking this product, you agree to the term and conditions stated above
Please note that the tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no shows after tour commencement or departure
Children less than 3 years old are free of charge unless they would like to have food on the tour as well. Infants must sit on lap for this free option (no stroller could be bought on the tour for the free option else a regular rate applies). If the infant will be sharing food from the parents plate, we kindly ask that you pay for a child ticket on this tour because this tour guarantees every one to be full and well-fed, and we cant guarantee that to every one if this happens.
If your chosen language for the tour is not English, and the group at that time slot has less than 5 people total signed up, you would be joined with an English speaking group with a guide that speaks multiple languages including the language that you requested. If you would like an excursion with the guide speaks Italian, or French, or German, or Spanish for only your group, and your group is less than 5 people, it would be a private tour and surcharge will apply. Please message us in advanced if you would like to book a private tour option. Please note that all services and communication on holidays will be conducted in English.
This tour guarantees you to be well-fed ( full ) by the end of the tour. This is our guarantee to you to demonstrate how much food there is on the tour. This guarantee applies when you eat everything that is present to you on the tour, and still hungry at the end ( which so far, never happened). But incase it does, please tell our guide towards the end, and we will give you more food till you are full. If you have any dietary restriction ( no fish, no meat or gluten free etc. , for example, you need to tell us in advanced at least 24 hours before the departure time) else this term doesnt apply because the restaurant wont be able to accommodate the guests as well as they could without advanced notice
The tour operates rains or shines. If you do not hear from us, it means the tour is operating as normal and nothing is cancelled
If one person in the booking require wheelchair access, we suggest that this person have a ferry pass ( to be purchased seperaately)to cross the canal instead of using the bridge
On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable
On Venetian and Italian national holidays, the only language we offer is English for our tours.
The orders of stops may change and the types of food, and wine changes by what s fresh at the market but the amount of food on offered is always the same

Meeting point

Meet your guide by the fountain, next to the step of the Chiesa San Giacomo di Rialto
Your guide will be holding a sign reading "Food Tours". This church is a walking distance from the famous Rialto Bridge on the side of San Polo Sestiere.
