Start this tour directly from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona city. We come to pick you up, so please be sure to let us know exactly where you are staying.

Enjoy an overview of Barcelona city on the way to Costa Brava, pass by Catalunya Square, Barcelona Cathedral, Passeig de Gracia and the Gaudi Houses, such as the Batllo and the Pedrera, and many other highlights.

2

Costa Brava is certainly one of the most important and unmissable travel destinations in Spain. With its rugged coast and rocky cliffs, this area is full of hidden natural coves surrounding crystal clear waters, whose waves splash up against the shore of fisherman villages, full of history and charm.

On the road and between the different destination from this trip, enjoy panoramic views and stop at several viewpoints to take pictures of the magnificent natural landscape, which blends bright greens with the wonderful turquoise blue of the sea. Enjoy the ancient Greek and Roman ruins and learn about how these people once lived.

3

Head to Empúries, the only archaeological site on the Iberian Peninsula where the remains of a Greek city Emporion coexist with those of a Roman city, Emporiae. It is also the gateway to classical culture: 10 centuries of history that transformed forever the ancient Iberian people who lived there. Follow their footsteps as you explore their city, their streets, houses, temples and markets.

4

Get to know Sant Marti d’Empuries, a small town built next to one of the most important ports of the Roman Empire. The place remains a medieval town today, with conserved wall and narrow, picturesque alleys.

5

Continue the tour to l’Estartit, the principal port and one of the diving destinations of Costa Brava. We invite you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Costa Brava in a 1.5-hour panoramic boat ride with underwater vision. The boat takes you to the Medes Islands, located along the Montgrí coast with more than 10 km of cliffs, small coves, and caves and the fortified mansions that move us to a time where they lived with the fear of attacks by pirates.

If you prefer to skip the boat, enjoy some free time in the charming town of l’Estartit.

6

The Medes Islands is a small archipelago, located in the Mediterranean Sea, one mile of the Montgrí Coast and l’Estartit. The archipelago is formed by seven little islands and reefs which are home to an underwater site of extraordinary biological and ecological value. In 2010, The Medes Islands was declared as Protected National Nature Park and its ecosystem has been classified as the best Marine Reserve in the Western Mediterranean. Explore the flora and fauna that this pearl of the region has to offer and take the chance to take a deep dive in the crystalline waters of a Mediterranean cove, surrounded by caves and natural life.
