Please note that this tour does not use a private vehicle and uses public transport. This tour involves several hours of walking in the outdoors

This tour will give you the opportunity to experience both traditional culture and pop culture in Tokyo, combining two of the cities most famous and popular areas, Shinjuku and Shibuya. If you’re low on time, and want to experience two of Tokyo’s hot spots, this is the perfect tour for you.

The tour will provide guests with a well balanced itinerary including a museum, a garden and park, shrines, famous landmarks and modern architecture.

Detailed itinerary

Meet your tour guide at Yotsuya Sanchome train station outside of the ticket gates at the yellow information stand in front of the ticket gates

Guided tour around Shinjuku Historical Museum and some time for you to explore if you wish

Stop 2

From the museum you will walk 20 minutes to your next destination Shinjuku Gyoen Park and Gardens. You will have a guided tour of Shinjuku Gyoen Park and enjoy a matcha and wagashi experience at the Park’s tea house.

You will then walk for 15 minutes from Shinjuku Gyoen to our next destination, a hidden shrine within the heart of Shinjuku. Your guide will tell you about the Shrine and its history. You will then have time to take photos and explore.

Stop 3

It is now lunch time! You will walk to Golden Gai and Kabukicho, Shinjuku's lively entertainment centre. You will have a guided tour of the area. You will then enjoy exploring and trying some local food at your leisure on your lunch break.

Stop 4

You will take a short train journey to Harajuku station from Shinjuku station. You will have a guided tour around Meiji Jingu Shrine and then you will go across to the vibrant and quirky area of Harajuku where your guide will also provide a guided tour. You will then have free time to shop, eat and take photos.

You will walk down to the centre of Shibuya to visit its most famous and iconic landmarks.

The tour will conclude at Shibuya station.

Meet your tour guide at Yotsuya-Sanchome station. When arriving at Yotsuya-Sanchome station, you will need to come out of the ticket gate for EXIT 4 and the meeting point is directly in front of you by the big information board.
