This tour has been designed so customers can experience one of Japan’s most popular and beautiful areas in one day, Hakone. The tour will provide customers with the opportunity to visit all of Hakone’s top attractions. If you love nature and spending time outdoors, this tour is for you!
Your tour will begin travelling from Shinjuku station in Tokyo where your tour guide will greet you and pick you up. Once everybody has arrived, we will board the train together and head for Hakone!
Once we arrive in Hakone, we will board the local Tozan train to the Tozan Cable Car at Gora to Sounzan station. Sit back and enjoy the impressive views of the luscious greenery that surrounds you on this picturesque journey!
From Sounzan station, we will board the next available Hakone Ropeway for 15 minutes. We will take a stop at a famous volcanic valley known as Hell Valley! Here you can enjoy some free time to explore the amazing landscape, take photos and do some souvenir shopping! You will also have your lunch break here.
We will board the Hakone Ropeway again for approximately 30 minutes. We will ride to the end of the line at Togendai station, Lake Ashinoko.
Your next destination will be Lake Ashinoko and a one way boat cruise across the lake on the famous pirate ship! The cruise will take approximately 40 minutes.
Once we arrive at Lake Ashinoko’s port, your next destination will be Hakone Shrine and Torii gate. We will take a short walk of approximately 5 minutes to reach it.
Your final destination will be a famous art museum where you can enjoy Japanese art and the Museum’s impressive panoramic lounge overlooking the lake, mountains, Torii gate and if you’re lucky, Mount Fuji!
After your visit to the famous museum. Its time to make your way back to Shinjuku Station. The estimated arrival time back would be around 18:45 ~ 19:00
You will meet your guide outside of Shinjuku Station’s South Gate by the LADURÉE Macaron shop. You will recognise the South Gate entrance as it has many ’Lumine 2’ signs across the building. Please look out for the guide with a ’Snow Monkey Resorts’ sign.
