About this experience

Join Murder n’ Mayhem for a Historical True Crime Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. You will walk through several eras in time as you explore interesting stories of true crime. You will also learn the darker history of the Gaslamp Quarter, the area formerly known as the Stingaree.

You will visit a historic hotel where a ghost is said to STILL haunt his room. Then you will travel in time to the roaring 1920’s. Next you will move forward a little over 10 years to become familiar with the 3rd victim of a San Diego Serial Killer. And last, we will share the most horrific crime to take place in downtown San Diego.

* Please note due to the graphic nature of the murder cases we advise extreme caution for children under 13. This tour includes discussion of assault, rape and murder, along with gruesome details that some may find offensive.

Here are a few important details-

TOUR LOCATION:
We start and end at 614 5th Ave, San Diego, CA 92101. (Between Henry's Pub & Barleymash)

LATE ARRIVALS:
Our tours START PROMPTLY AT THE DESIGNATED START TIME. Because this tour is packed with information it MUST be started on time. Our guides give our guests their full attention so they are not be able to answer their phones after the tour has started.

If you are running late we suggest dropping off one of the guests in your party so they can join the tour on time and let you know the group's location once you are able to catch up.

If you arrive late, we suggest trying to catch the group on Island beside Sab Lai Thai, the next location would be the Horton Grand Hotel. We hope you are able to meet up with us.

PARKING:
Please be aware parking in the Gaslamp Quarter is limited and is not free! Be sure to arrive early to give yourself plenty of time to find parking or use public transportation. A great place to park is Park It on Market at 6th & Market.

The Gaslamp Quarter is downtown so be sure to check if there are other events going on at the same time as your reservation.

No outside Food or Beverage is allowed at Henry's Pub.
Comfortable shoes are recommended. This is a walking tour.
