Join the four islands day trip by longtail boat from Ao Nang, taking you to the group of islands than can be seen on the horizon from the beach including Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Koh Tub and Koh Mor, and a stop at the beautiful Phra Nang Cave Beach on the Railay peninsula.
Pickup included
Start the 4 island tour directly from your hotel lobby in Krabi where the driver of Krabi Sunset Tours will pick you up in the morning. Undergo a short health check-up by the crew at Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang and board the wooden longtail boat.
Head over to the 4 Islands group with a short stopover at Railay Beach to pickup fellow explorers.
The first stop is at the world-renowned Phra Nang Cave Beach. Experience vertical limestone cliffs, green jungle, monkeys in tropical trees, fine soft sand and clear turquoise waters.
The main attraction is the Princess Cave with the Penis Shrine at the end of the beach, where fishermen still make offerings in the form of incense and flowers to ensure a safe journey.
Continue to Poda Island, which is famous for its white beaches and turquoise water. The huge rock in front of the island has been featured on countless postcards, so don’t miss the opportunity to snap your own photo memory here. After swimming and splashing, enjoy a Thai style buffet lunch at the beach and walk a little further towards the south where you can find more peace.
Next stop is at Koh Tub where you can walk across the spectacular sandbar that connects it to the Chicken and Mor Islands nearby before returning to the pier in Ao Nang.
Then cruise around the “head” of Chicken Island, with the odd rocky outcrop that earned it its name also makes a good photo opportunity.
