After Tulum you will be taken to a natural park to swim in breathtaking cenotes. A cenote is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. Especially associated with the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, cenotes were sometimes used by the ancient Maya for sacrificial offerings. Its water is often very clear, as the water comes from rain water filtering slowly through the ground.
Then, in Akumal, you will swim with wild turtles in their natural environment, guided by a professional. It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the coasts of the Caribbean Sea. If you come to Akumal you must get in the water and go snorkeling right away!
