Stop 1

Catch the train from Athens Train Station at 8:28 am to Kalabaka and admire the beautiful Greek landscapes during your trip. Arriving in Kalabaka at 12:49pm our lux Mini Bus will be waiting you at the Kalabaka Train Station with our highly educated , Spanish speaking , Tour Leader to begin your customized Special Panoramic Midday Meteora Tour. Take an amazing 4 hours Meteora tour, see all 6 monasteries and visit inside 3 of them. Your Tour Leader will give you full attention and care as the group will be small. Plenty of photo opportunity stops and many secrets places that only locals know will make your tour a life time experience. In the end, will be transferred back to Kalabaka Train Station to catch the train back for Athens , you will have also the time for a nice walk to the city of Kalabaka. The train departs at 17:35 and you will arrive in Athens at 21:57.

***IMPORTANT UPDATE from September 2023 until further notice: due to the recent flooding affecting train services, this tour will be operated by a modern air-conditioned bus as replacement departing from Athens Larissis station at 07:45am. The journey takes approximately 5 hours (with a 20 min refreshment stop) You will spend 5 hours in destination visiting Meteora and then return to Athens (arrival at approximately 11:00pm)***

DEPARTURE POINT : Athens Railway Station (Stathmos Larissis) at : 08:28 am ---- MEETING POINT : Take the train to Kalambaka from Athens. On arrival at Kalambaka's station at 12:49 , make your way to the outside: The tour guide will be waiting there along with a signboard with your name.

• In case you chose First Class train tickets and there is no availability in First class, AUTOMATICALLY we will issue Normal class tickets and you will be refunded the difference of money.
