Detailed itinerary

1

Enjoy a full-day excursion from Marmaris to the island of Rhodes. Make the short 50-minute crossing in comfort by catamaran and have plenty of free time to explore Rhodes once you’ve arrived.

It is possible to find guided tours from Mandraki Harbor or to take a taxi to travel around the island. The best option, however, is to explore the island on your own as most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance of the harbor.

Explore the walled medieval town, which has been declared a World Heritage Site. Walk along its narrow streets and visit the numerous historical sites. Among the most important monuments are the well-preserved Venetian Castle, the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of St. John, Freedom Gate, the Church of St. Paul, and the Temple of Aphrodite. You’ll also want to see the legendary Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Wonders of the Ancient World.

Rhodes has plenty of shops stocking famous brands, local goods, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
