After your pick up from your hotel, we will head up to the Botanical Garden founded in 1808, its collection holds 9000 samples of 1500 species. The JBRJ is famous for the exuberance and scientific importance of its plant collections, as well as the beauty of its landscapes. Its bicentennial history is expressed in its monuments, buildings and works of art. On foot or by electric cart, visitors can stroll along the alleys and see plants from different parts of the world, visit the greenhouses (Orchids, Bromeliads, Ferns, Insectivorous Plants) and thematic gardens and collections, such as the Japanese Garden and the Medicinal plants.
After visiting the Botanical Gardens, we will drive to Parque Lage, originating from an old sugar mill, the park is part of the city's historical memory.
Designed in 1840 by English landscaper John Tyndale, the beautiful romantic European-style garden shares the spotlight with the native Atlantic Forest. Also noteworthy are the imperial palm trees, the artificial lakes and islands, in addition to the caves scattered throughout the park and the aquariums embedded in the walls with various fish.

XIX, operates the School of Visual Arts of Parque Lage (EAV) and the Bistro Plage offers a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner with organic products that can be enjoyed alongside the art and music events that take place on site throughout the year.
