Enjoy this tour, which explores the rich culture and vibe of New Orleans’ French Quarter - the most decadent district. You will be learning about its dark history, its legends of ghosts, vampires, and voodoo - deeply-rooted in its French culture. You will also be allowed to make a pit stop at any of the bars that the tour group passes to get your to-go cup refilled.

Real paranormal equipment will be used during the tour for those interested in the paranormal aspect of the tour.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Once you meet your guide at a designated meeting point, you can get ready for a fun cultural experience. You will walk through the magical streets of the Vieux Carre and visit historic and cultural landmarks. You will also visit the exact location where the Louisiana Purchase was signed in 1803, as well as the famous St Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square and many more places that played a vital role in New Orleans history.

Stop 2

You will discover where to find the most predictable ghost named Julie, and visit the most haunted house in the city as well as multiple locations where vampires have been seen (the police have documented sightings of them on a regular basis). You will also learn about the origins of voodoo in New Orleans, hear about the Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, and locations where Voodoo ceremonies were held.

Apart from the history and the paranormal, you will also explore its bars. The French Quarter has over 200 bars! While not going inside the bars, you can feel free to go inside by yourself and refill your to-go cup. Your tour guide will wait outside by the door.

This tour is for all ages, some locations will allow children inside however some do not.

Drinks are not included in the price of the ticket.

It can be pretty darn hot in NOLA but it can also get pretty darn cold as well. In the event that a tour is canceled- All cancellation notices will appear on our website, social media and we will send text notifications to all guests who leave an accurate working mobile phone number on their reservation. Prepaid tours will receive credit for a future tour. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to inclement weather or any other acts of God. Unfortunately we cannot create a ghost / supernatural being appear anywhere / anytime during the tour! This includes non-physical entities, such as angels, ghosts, vampires, demons, gods, and spirits. If it isn’t human we cannot guarantee you will see it. Our tours are realistic! No refunds and no compensation will be offered for any reason. This includes guests that complain for not seeing a ghost or supernatural being. We do not give potential guests or active ticket holders false hope of seeing a ghost. Guests have captured paranormal photos during our tours so rest assured it is most definitely possible we simply do not haunted anything. We have an album of the photos including texts that have photos from guests that captured paranormal activity in photos, ask to see them if you are interested! Paranormal Equipment must be checked out and returned to a staff member before the guest leaves the tour. If you are interested in the equipment you must arrive at check in and request the equipment. All paranormal equipment is marked and tracked via GPS. Children under the age of 18 are not admitted without parent or guardian unless authorized by one of the tour guides. Tours depart at the scheduled time. If guests do not check in Before the tour they can not call & meet at a different location. Late arrivals will not be refunded. We reserve the right to refuse service to guests who show signs of extreme intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund. Minimum numbers apply. A fee of $60 will be charged for any piece of lost, damaged, or missing piece of paranormal equipment if a guest takes the equipment they will be expected to return it immediately or pay the $60 fee so that it can be replaced immediately. Guests are not allowed to video any portion of the tour. No videos of any narrations given by tour guides will be permitted.

This is a walking tour. The duration: 1 - 2 hours it may last longer depending on the wait time inside the bars. Some bars may be busy & if numerous stops are made to busy bars this can delay the tour to a large degree. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please keep in mind some bars do not allow kids inside. No entry is gained inside locations. Tour route is subject to change without notice. This tour is also known as the New Orleans Drunk History Tour. Drinks are not included.
