Detailed itinerary

1

Look forward to learning a lot about the Cocoa plant and the many uses as this tour begins by taking you unto the farm to meet the farmers and get a first hand experience of how this delicious fruit is grown. Taste the fresh raw cocoa bean; as the local farmer explains to you the stages from growth to harvesting. Listen to his ancient family traditions and practices that have been passed down for centuries.
The second half of the tour involves making and tasting the chocolate you made! Begin by tasting the raw roasted cocoa bean followed by using a "Matate"; a mayan stone instrument used to naturally grind the beans into 100% Natural Chocolate. Most guest prefer to make 85% dark. All ingredients are 100% natural and no additives nor preservatives like wax is added in these products. There will be many other percentages and products to try to suite your preference.

2

Enter the peaceful and lush canopy of the Belizean rainforest on your reliable ATV. Go fast or go slow as you enjoy some facts about the surrounding flora and fauna. Through out this tour, your guide may stop to give you a chance to pick and sample different fresh fruits like coconuts, soursop, black berries, cocoa, bananas and many more; straight off the tree.
