Meeting point

Gigi's Bakery is at the corner of 4th Avenue and 87th Street.
The meeting place is NOT in front of the subway station.

Meeting point is a 60-70 minute ride from Midtown or 45 minutes from Downtown.
It is not advisable to take a taxi / Uber. This may take a very long time (60 minutes or longer).

Subway Directions:

R subway line to '86th Street' station in Brooklyn.

Approximately 60-70 minute ride from Midtown Manhattan or 45 minutes from Downtown Manhattan.

We suggest taking the 2, 3, 4, 5, N or Q line to 'Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center' station in Brooklyn, and then transferring to the R line.

We advise you to NOT take a taxi or Uber. This may take a very long time.

Please be aware that the closest subway station is a distance of approximately 15 minutes from the lights. Therefore we meet near the subway station, and then we will walk approximately 15 minutes in order to reach the lights.

Parking:
If you will drive to the tour, here is what we recommend. Use the municipal parking lot at the following address: 8501 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209. It's a parking garage building. It's located 2 blocks away from the meeting place. You should pay for at least 2.5 hours.

We might not pass this exact spot, but we should be within sight distance.
In order to get to this location, here are directions from the tour meeting place:
Walk 1 block to 86th Street and turn right. Walk approximately 5 blocks along 86th Street. Turn left at 11th Avenue. Walk 1 block and then turn right onto 85th Street.

Please note that our policy is that we do not accommodate latecomers (because of consideration for the other folks on the tour). We are not under any obligation to accommodate you if you are late. However, we will try to accommodate you. But it is your responsibility to arrive on time.
