The 2 mile trek through the lush woodlands of Vermont is a riveting experience as you will encounter many species of animals and plants including the St.Vincent parrot, our national bird, Amazona Guildingii and Whistling Warbler, both unique to St Vincent and strictly protected. With many look-out points, where one can behold the wonders of nature, clean bathroom facilities and a gift shop where one can purchase souvenirs, a visit to this site is sure to be a memorable one. Hike a 3km trail that is 90% covered by a canopy of tree. Listen for and observe the parrot, our national bird in it's natural habitat. Learn the names and usefulness of many plant species. Look for and identify animal species by their tracks and sign.
