Around 20000 skilled laborers contributed day and night for 22 years to build this Monument of love.

It is another UNESCO declared building and entirely built with the red sandstone.The fort is one of the finest and most massive red sandstone forts in India. It has several beautiful architectural features which will take you in to the bygone era.

12:00 PM: After you visit Baby Taj Mahal also referred as Itmad ud Daulah which is older than Taj Mahal.It is widely perceived as the precedent to the architectural plan of the Taj Mahal. The tomb signifies turn of a new leaf in Mughal architecture with a significant shift from red sandstone buildings to pure white marble structures inlaid with detailed pietra dura work. The tomb was commissioned by Noor Jahan (the chief consort of Mughal Emperor Jahangir) for her father.
