Detailed itinerary

North of Rincon de la Vieja (the rain forest side) take jungle walk, visit an amazing blue river, take dips into Grand Waterfalls & view exotic plants and wildlife.

Itinerary
8:00 am: Aprox pick-up from hotels in Liberia (to be confirmed)
10:00 am: Arrive for a welcome cocktail. Change clothing
10:30 am: Depart for a short drive and arrive at Grand Waterfalls for a dip in the pools. Set out on nature walk into the tropical rainforest, before coming upon the out-of-this-world blue river, Pénjamo.
12:30 pm: Return to Blue River Resort to enjoy a delightful lunch à la carte.
1:30 pm: Time for natural mud bath and sauna, Botanical gardens, Butterfly Gardens
2:15 pm: Soak and swim 3 natural mineral "green" hot springs pools and 2 fresh water pools with bullet water slide
4:00pm: Return in time for dinner.

Reserve: at least a day in advance.

When travelling to Rincon de la Vieja National Park's north (Caribbean side), the geography transforms into a lush rain forest with views of mountain ranges. We will pass by a windmill farm, blue rivers, locals on horseback and views of the smoking volcano crater in the park.
