Housed in a richly decorated pavilion built in the traditional Northern Thai style, Sala Rim Naam is the setting for a unique cultural experience — a classical Thai dance show performed every night enjoyed during a delicious meal of traditional Thai dishes. Sala Rim Naam at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok combines all the elements needed to be one of the best romantic Thai dining experiences in Bangkok. This is not easy to achieve with so many great restaurants all around town, and Sala Rim Naam succeeds by blending an amazing location by the riverside, not just near to the water but right next to it! Add to this the legendary Mandarin Oriental service, and of course all these would be meaningless without the key ingredient of a truly great place: the food! Prepared by Executive Chef Vichit Mukura, the cuisine at Sala Rim Naam is elaborate but absolutely Thai. The menu is well designed for both beginners and those who are already familiar with Thai food but still want to be surprised.

Ride a classic teak boat across the Chao Phraya River from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. During the evenings, After 6:30pm, ladies are kindly asked to wear elegant attire and proper footwear, and gentlemen are kindly asked to wear a smart shirt, long trousers and closed shoes.
