Detailed itinerary

1

We’ll pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco. It will take us about 2.5 hours to get to the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain from Cusco. 30 minutes before arriving at the starting point of the trek, we’ll have breakfast at a cozy restaurant between the mountains.

2

Before starting the trek, our guide will give you some useful tips so you can walk safely to the top of the mountain. This hike is less demanding than the hike to the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, nonetheless your guide will be checking on you all the way to the top to ensure you get there safely. Once at the top of the mountain, you’ll realize that all that hard work has paid off! Our guides will explain the origin of the mountain and will give you some free time so you can fully appreciate this natural wonder.

3

After a whole day full of adventure, now it’s time for a well-deserved lunch. It should take about one hour to hike back to the parking lot. We’ve selected a restaurant where you’ll be able to sample the best of the Peruvian cuisine. Once we’ve finished with all the activities, we’ll return to Cusco. Drop off will be at your accommodation.
