Traveling by car to the fjords of Western Norway is one of the best ways to enjoy the Norwegian nature and appreciate the beauty of the fjords and waterfalls in a short period of time.
The trip is designed for the whole day, leaving from Oslo early in the morning and returning late at night. During the day you will take part of Bergen Railway by train from Geilo to Myrdal, then board the world famous Flam Railway and cruise along the two branches of the longest and deepest fjords in Norway – Sognefjord. One of them, Nærøyfjord, was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2005.
You will also be able to pass one of the most attractive high-altitude railways in the world – Flåm – or enjoy the impressive views at Stalheim hotel viewpoint. Do not miss your chance to enjoy the wild and beautiful scenery of this amazing country in one day!

Your private guide will pick you up by car from your hotel and you will begin your journey to the most beautiful fjord in Norway - Sognefjord. On the long car trip you will have several stops for pictures, toilet and food if needed. (4,5h approx)
Arrived at Gudvange, you will be able to enjoy the scenic atmosphere of the Naraefjord - the most beautiful part of the Sognefjord and take lunch (not included) in a Viking cafe next to the Viking Village.

After your arrival in Flam, you will have a short time for souvenirs and outlets, after that your guide will lead you to Flamsbana to enjoy the most beautiful Norway railway.
