We start the hike in the town of Ye ascending towards Lo Corona's crater, as you take in the breathtaking sights of vineyards and lava flows known as "malpais." Their are large basaltic blocks that extend down to a pretty white sand coast. After exploring the majestic crater, continue on the trail to La Corona's east side. A 4.7-mile (7.6 km) lava tunnel awaits. The last mile of this tunnel/cave is under the sea due to the volcano's eruption in the last Ice Age.
La Corona is aligned with another four volcanic cones. Our tour allows you to see 3 of these: Volcan de la Cerca, Los Helechos, and La Quemada. This stunning volcano alignment rise over massive Famara, offering captivating views of Lanzarote.
We then head to the highest point of the Famara Cliffs, this really is a true marvel of nature. A gigantic wall of rock advances more than 500m from the sea and spans over 13 miles along the northwest coast. During your walk, enjoy memorable views of Chinijo Archipelago, the group of islets north of Lanzarote. You'll also see the highest point, Peas del Chache (670 m.). From this elevated point, you will discover a nature area with colourful flora and fauna.
