Guests will walk from the meeting location to this spectacular Royal Palace. The Palais-Royal is a former French royal palace located on Rue Saint-Honoré in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. The screened entrance court faces the Place du Palais-Royal, opposite the Louvre. Originally called the Palais-Cardinal, it was built for Cardinal Richelieu from about 1633 to 1639 by architect Jacques Lemercier. Richelieu bequeathed it to Louis XIII, before Louis XIV gave it to his younger brother, Philippe I, Duke of Orléans. As the succeeding Dukes of Orléans made such extensive alterations over the years, almost nothing remains of Lemercier's original design.

Walking through the neighbourhood of Montorgueil , our guests will dive into the old and rich history of Les Halles, huge market that fed Paris and the Parisians for 8 centuries before leaving permanently to Rungis in 1969 .
Inseparable from les Halles, “Montorgueil” grew in accordance with the successive transformations of the market, making this area both a popular and modern district, atmosphere that you can still feel today.
This walk will take guests into the history of this neighbourhood, one of the oldest in Paris, exploring its various developments. You’ll also enjoy the currently pleasant atmosphere of pedestrian village full of shops and restaurants. Guests will learn and see so much of what makes up French food as they walk the famous epicurean street fool of incredible stores with magnificent store fronts showing their sumptuous epicurean specialities. Explore the area where the largest food market once stood as well as visit the oldest bakery in Paris.
