Starting location of the tour, you will only visit the outside of the building. When you visit Matthias Church, you will see a beautiful building with colorful tiles on the roof and tall towers that look like they’re reaching for the sky. The church is covered with lots of cool carvings and statues. It’s in a special part of the city where you can look out and see amazing views of Budapest and the river.

Stop 2

Second location of the tour, you will only visit the outside of the building. Buda Castle is a huge old palace on a hill overlooking the city. It looks like a fairytale castle with big courtyards, statues, and fountains. From here, you can see the whole city and the river.

Stop 3

The Szechenyi Chain Bridge is a big, famous bridge that goes over the Danube River and connects two parts of Budapest. It has giant stone lions at each end and lots of big chains holding it up.

Vigado Square is an open area next to the Danube River. Here you can see a beautiful concert hall and impressive fountains. It’s a great place to relax, watch the river, and see people enjoying the city.

Elizabeth Square is a great park in the middle of Budapest with a giant Ferris wheel called the Budapest Eye.

Stop 6

The Great Synagogue is an enormous building with colorful designs and two onion-shaped domes on top. It’s the largest synagogue in Europe and has an amazing patterned brickwork on the outside.

The Hungarian State Opera House is one of the most famous opera houses in European history, with lots of decorations, statues, and columns on the outside. It’s on a famous street called Andrassy Avenue, a place you have to visit.

Szabadsag ter, or Liberty Square, is a big park with lots of statues and memorials, some of which you'll receive great stories about.

The Fat Policeman Statue is a bronze statue of a chubby policeman. People love to rub his belly for good luck! It’s a great spot to take a fun picture.

Kossuth Lajos Square is a big open space right in front of the giant Hungarian Parliament building. The building looks like a castle with many towers and windows. In the square, there are statues that tell stories about Hungary’s history.
