just to give you an idea i'll list you some details of one type of tour.
I do usually suggest to my clients to start the tour quite early. . . by
8am, it'll be the best way to avoid the rush hours traffic in Naples. In approx. 1 hour we'll reach Sorrento, where obviously you'll have the chance of visiting the ancient centre town. After Sorrento, we'll time to go finally along the breathtaking Amalfi coast. . . several stops on the way , if you desire, for taking amazing pictures and even there time to visit the centre town (where big buses will not be allowed to go to) and time for lunch too, of course.
After the visit of the coast will be then time to reach the Ancient Pompei, since the archeological area is massive i'd suggest to stop for approx. 2 hours. . . overthere, if you desire I could arrange avery good professional local tour guide for a Private Tour into the ruins, otherwise you could explore by yourself too.
After Pompei you'll be driven back to starting point
