this is a superb walk, with a sun blessed aspect, through landscape rich in cultivation on the neighbourhoods of Funchal, a mixture of sea and mountains views is going to delight you. This walk starts in Cabo Girão passing through the valey of Quinta Grande and Campanario.

It is an easy and pleasant course that can be done at any time of the year, because it is located in the south of the Island, where the climate is milder.

Along the way, it is possible to appreciate the fantastic views that are emerging, where the parishes of Câmara de Lobos and Campanário stand out. In these views the hiker can still observe the green fields, the carefully worked plantations and the set of houses and buildings that form the villages.
