Detailed itinerary

1

In Nepean Bay, you can take a walk on the pristine beach, while the Red Banks can be reached only by walking on a path downhill, surrounded by the red clay cliffs. A breathtaking place!

2
Stop 2

Then, we will pass through the small town of American River, where the rare Glossy Black Cockatoo (a parrot that is virtually extinct on mainland) can be spotted while it feeds off the trees.

3
Stop 3

Pennington Bay is very popular among local surfers, because of its perfect ocean waves.

4

Adventure lovers can climb atop Prospect Hill and admire the entire area top-down. Since this is the narrowest point on the island (just 900 meters coast-to-coast), apart from Pelican Lagoon, here you can also see the North and South Shore at the same time.

5

Then, the tour will continue toward Cape Willoughby, the eastern-most part of the island, where the guide will take you inside the lighthouse, to see the island and the Flerieu Peninsula (mainland). In the evening, Kangaroos will start coming out, often near the lighthouse.

6

This is a great spot to observe kangaroos in their habitat. specially in the evening. At the end of the tour, after spotting Kangaroos, Koalas, Wallabies, Pelicans, and, if you are very lucky, even an Echidna up close, we will take you back to your hotel, or at the airport/ferry terminal.
