The 2-day desert tour departs from Marrakech in a comfortable vehicle in the direction of Zagora via the valley of Draa. The trip includes a camel trek and an overnight stay in a desert camp.
The 2-day private tour of the desert starts at 7:30 AM from your accommodation in Marrakech towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. We cross the high Atlas Mountains. After passing Tizi n'Tichka, we left the main road and took a side road to Telouet village to visit the ancient Kasbah Telouet, a former residence of the Galaoui family. Later we will head to the UNESCO site, Ait Ben Haddou. Then we drive along the Draa Valley to our desert camp in Zagora. You spend the night in a nice desert camp. You will also experience a camel ride before sunset. The next day we will return to Marrakech, visiting a cinema studio and an interesting Kasbah along the way.

In the morning we cross the High Atlas Mountains. At the Tizi n'Tichka pass, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the top of the mountains. Tizi n'Tichka is considered the highest pass in North Africa. Later, we leave the main road and take a side road to the village of Telouet where we will visit an old kasbah.
During the tour, you will visit this beautiful attraction which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also served as the backdrop for many famous movies such as Gladiator.
The valley we drive through was once an important route for the merchant caravans that crossed the desert and the Atlas Mountains. We continue our journey along this incredibly beautiful road to Ait Ben Haddou where we will have lunch. This is the most famous fortified Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This site has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood movies.
We drive through the Draa Valley which offers several beautiful panoramic views over the palm groves and visits some kasbahs along the way.
In Ouarzazate, also called the Hollywood of Africa, you can visit one of the movie studios where you can see some sets used in famous movies like Kundun.
