You will be collected from your preferred pick-up point in Bath and driven to your guide's favourite viewpoint to give you a great perspective of the city. The tour continues with a walking tour of the centre of Bath. Your guide, who was born and grew up in Bath, will show you all of the city's famous landmarks and will tell you interesting stories about these and the city. You will also be shown the location of the city's hot springs - without these Bath would not be the city that it is today.

You will hear about the fascinating history behind the Bath Abbey.
You will hear about the Roman's impact on Bath and the famous Roman Baths. We do not go inside the Roman Baths Museum.
You will be shown the location of the city's hot springs and Bath's modern spa. Should you wish to visit the Thermae Bath Spa during your stay your guide will give you some useful tips.
During the tour you will hear about the connection between Bath and a famous English author: Jane Austen. Your guide will point out the Jane Austen Centre which fans of Jane Austen may like to visit during their stay.
You will visit the beautiful Circus which has had a number of interesting residents.
You will also visit the magnificent Royal Crescent.
After your tour of Bath you will have lunch at a charming English pub.
After lunch you will be driven to a non-for-profit falconry located in a small village near Bath.
The falconry is involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of wild birds of prey as well as education of the ancient art of falconry. Under the guidance of a local falconer you will be introduced to their birds and taken on a short walk into the countryside to have the unique experience of flying a hawk. Your guide will be on hand to help take photos. The falconry experience takes between 60 and 90 minutes depending on how quickly you feed the hawk! After the experience you will be driven back to Bath.
The falconry experience is not suitable for children under 8 and is subject to favourable weather conditions. In the event of unsuitable conditions you will have the opportunity to fly owls indoors instead. If you prefer to fly owls instead of a hawk please let Bath Insider Tours know in advance.
