Experience the thrilling enchantment of the largest National Park, on a 2 day - 1 night safari adventure from Diani Beach to Tsavo East National Park. The park has a great diversity of wildlife in an open savannah with a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and rivers.
DAY 1
To make the most of your safari, the adventure starts with an early pick up from your beach hotel at 0530 hrs and enjoy a captivating 4-hour drive into the heart of Tsavo East National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife and unspoiled landscapes for a memorable wildlife safari, enthralling sightseeing, and a touch of local culture.
As the sun rises, the untouched beauty of Tsavo East unveils before you, indicating arrival into the park, and the first thing you notice is the limitless flat and dry earth.
Upon entering the park, the driver will open up the vehicle so you can be mesmerized by the views with the wind in your hair.
Welcome to Tsavo, the safari has begun! En route to the lodge, spend the entire Morning spotting game in Tsavo's semi-arid to arid habitat, Fed by the confluence of Tsavo and Athi rivers, which go on to form the Galana River.
Apart from its wildlife attractions, you will also get to see the aforementioned Yatta Plateau on the horizon, which is known as the world’s largest lava flow.
Check in at your lodge in time for lunch and later enjoy time for relaxation before setting off back into the park for your afternoon game drive, allowing you to delve deeper into the wilderness of Tsavo East and seek out elusive creatures that call this park their home.
Return to the lodge as the sun sets and stay overnight at Voi Wildlife Lodge, a Mid-range lodge bordering Tsavo East National Park without fences or similar on a FB basis.
DAY 2
Start your day early with a game drive at 0630hrs in the cool morning hours, the best time to spot predators like cheetahs and silver-backed jackals as they are most active.
Search for a variety of wildlife, including greater kudus, elands, and hartebeests, and keep your eyes peeled for a potential kill, a rare but thrilling sight.
Return to the Lodge for Breakfast and enjoy a hearty breakfast, replenishing your energy after the exciting morning.
Check out of the lodge and embark on another game drive through the vast savannah and spot more wildlife, and enjoy the diverse landscapes of the park.
Stop for lunch at a local spot, savouring some regional cuisine and taking a break from the drive. (This lunch is not included in the price.)
Head back towards Diani
Conclude your day with a relaxing drive back, reflecting on the day’s adventures.
