Detailed itinerary

1

Tour will start with a short walk in Revolution Square. It is a place of great significance for the Romanian people, as this was the place where we gain back our freedom in December 1989.
In this area, you will also learn more about Communism vs Monarchy in Romania, and discover other landmarks of the city such as the Romanian Atheneum, King Carol I's equestrian statue, the Royal Palace, the former headquarter of the Communist party, etc.

2
Stop 2

We will take a driving tour around the Palace of Parliament, the world's second-largest building, and do a stop in Constitution Square. Here your private guide will give you more information about the huge building and its meaning for Bucharest people.

3

We will climb together the small hill of the Romanian Patriarchy only to discover the long relationship between the Orthodox Church and political life in Romania. Besides the 17th-century church on the top of the hill, you will also admire the first Romanian Parliament Palace and the residence of the Romanian Patriarch.

4

Take a walk through the narrow streets of Bucharest's historical city center. It is the place where everything started in this part of Wallachia, when, in 1450, the local leader built here his temporary court.
Lear more about the commerce in Bucharest and discover the old Manuc' Inn, the only still-standing medieval hotel in Bucharest.
