This tour will start in the heart of the city, in the Old Town, where there is the pick of the litter of activities. Learn about the history of the area, and hear about the last days of WWII when most of the beautiful Old Town was destroyed. Officially known as “the longest bar in the world”, it's an area full of discos, bars, cafés and discos. So be sure to keep a sharp lookout for a possible venue to enjoy a wonderful relaxing evening later on. In this area you can catch a glimpse of the famous Wilhelm Marx House, the first skyscraper ever built in Europe dating back to the 1920. We will learn more about the Town Hall, which is one of only two pre–World War II buildings still standing in the city. Next we will reach the St. Lambertus Church, known for its crooked twisted tower. Our guide will tell you everything about its history and mysterious legends. Just a few blocks west of the Old Town is the main shopping street, the so called "Kö" the Königsallee, which is a very popular shopping district.
