Amalfi, once a powerful and rich "seafaring republic", controlled, in competition with the rival cities of genoa, Pisa and Venice, the profitable mediterranean trade routes. Amalfi left a glorious legacy that makes it the most important town on the coast and rightfully gives it its own name. A white washed town built right on the rocky slopes of the mountain side facing the sea, as if to challenge the wrath of the waves. The magnificent cathedral reveals its past whealth and the main square and the high street have a cheerful and typical mediterranean flavour. The drive to Positano snakes along the coast following the rocky contours of this magical shoreline and offering, at every turn, amazing views that leave the travelers in awe with their eyes stuck to the windows. Positano, just like a jewel, is collected in a lush valley amid mighty mountains. It is so picturesque as to seem a spontaneous stage setting.

One of our professional, knowledgeable English speaking driver guides will be waiting at pick up location (where you will be tendered) or location agreed at 8 am, or according to the agreed time. Your driver will be holding a sign with your or your party’s name on it.
Train Station – Driver will be holding a sign with your name on it. We will be waiting at the end of the platform that the train is arriving. It is important to provide name and number of the train you will be arriving for the driver to know where to position themselves.
Ports (Pick up is normally 8am or otherwise agreed upon)
Our escort driver will be waiting at the gangway of your cruise ship or outside the cruise ship terminal. The escort driver will be holding up a sign with the group’s name on it. The email that accompanies the voucher you receive at the time of booking will indicate the meeting point for each specific port.
We recommend that you meet onboard before exiting the ship. This way you are all together when meeting your escort driver and the tour can commence much more efficiently. Otherwise, the wait time for others will be 20minutes, after which time the tour will proceed.
