Stop 1
You will be met at your accommodation by your private guide and taxi.
On arrival at Hampton Court your guide will tell you some of the history of the palace before accompanying you inside for a tour of the Tudor kitchens and the Tudor palace. Hear about life at the palace when Henry VIII arrived and how they lived.
See the best surviving Tudor hall in the country and see how the Tudors ate.
The chapel at Hampton Court, where Henry VIII married his 6th wife Catherine Parr, is another one of the highlights of this palace and is still in regular use today.
Then you will be taken through the courtyards to the newer part of the palace built for William III and His wife Queen Mary. Here you will see the king's state and private apartments.
Time permitting you can also visit the wonderful gardens at Hampton Court where you may like to find your way out of the maze.
At the end of your tour your private London taxi will be waiting to take you back to your hotel accompanied by your guide.
