Started in 1515, by Cardinal Wolsey, Hampton Court Palace is a wonderful example of both Tudor and Baroque styles of architecture.
We will tour through the Tudor part of the Palace and the Royal Chapel visiting the 3 courtyards, where we will see the great astronomical clock that Henry Vlll had installed in 1540, and the rest of the Tudor palace.
We will then visit the newer section of the palace built for William and Mary by one of Britain's greatest architect's, Sir Christopher Wren.
Here we see the state apartments of William lll along with the private rooms used by him.
The gardens at Hampton Court should not be missed. As well as the vast formal gardens there is the Hampton Court Maze planted some time between 1689 and 1695 for William lll.

Your private driver-guide will meet and greet you at your central London hotel and explain what the tour will involve.
After a 45 minute journey, we will arrive at one of Henry Vlll's favorite palaces, Hampton Court, where your driver-guide will give you a guided tour of the Tudor apartments, the great Tudor hall and kitchens and the Royal Chapel before taking you through the state apartments of William lll in the newer part of the palace built by Sir Christopher Wren.
On our return to London, your driver-guide can either take you to your hotel or any other central London location.
