The South Zone of Rio is famous for the long shore and sunny beaches. It is also a place full of landmarks of modern architecture. We can see them by strolling through the Ipanema and the Copacabana Beach. Listen to the tour guide instructions to identify the iconic buildings. We continue the tour to the Parque Guinle to see a different example of modern architecture. Then, we go to the Feira de São Cristóvão. We stop for lunch (not included) to recharge our batteries. Take your time relaxing and taking pictures.
After lunch, we head to the Pedregulho, a former housing project in Rio. Then, we finish in Downtown to compare the diverse styles of modern architecture.
At the end, we return to the hotel.

As we stroll through the Copacabana beach, we stop in front of the Museu da Imagem e do Som. It is still under construction, but we can appreciate the modern style of the building.
From Copacabana, we go to Laranjeiras, a different neighborhood in Rio. We pass through the gate and admire the trees, the pound and the flowers in the area.
From Laranjeiras, we go to the Feira de São Cristóvão. Admire the interesting shape of the Feira de São Cristóvão. Stop for a quick bite (not included).
Admire the architecture of this building created during the modernization of the docks in Rio.
Located in Downtown Rio, the Capanema building is a beautiful example of modern art.

Take pictures outside of the Museum of Modern Art. This is the last stop. You may stay here and purchase a ticket to enter the Museum (not included).
