Walk through the ruins of Herculanium, a rich city of merchants and nobility, with your small group of maximum 10 people and explore with me this world’s best preserved Roman city, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Visit the ancient square facing the sea, the well preserved Augusteum, the beautiful public bath, the bakery, the gymnasium, the termopolium, the house of Neptune and Amphitrite, the Samnite house and much more.
The volcanic mud frozen into a hard stone that sealed like in a vacuum capsule whole city, creating the unique characteristics of conservation, which has no equal.
So, you will see the skeletons of the victims on the beach, a lot of frescoes and mosaics in place, the carbonized wood, that preserved only in this city.
