Detailed itinerary

We will book for you first class seats on the train from Florence Campo di Marte Train Station to La Spezia. You will reach Florence Campo di Marte train station on your own in the morning and take the train to La Spezia (1 h 50 min).

Your friendly private guide will come to meet you at the train station in La Spezia, at the arrival platform of your train. Together with your guide, you will take a local train and with a short ride of about 15 minutes and you will reach the Cinque Terre (train tickets included). Your guide will take you on a walking tour to discover the Cinque Terre villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola and, if time allows, Riomaggiore. You will move from town to town by train and by boat (subject to weather conditions). You will admire the beautiful coastline, wander through narrow streets, enjoy post-card views of the colored homes, with plenty of opportunities for great photos.

Together with your private guide you will explore the lovely town of Riomaggiore.

You will then reach Manarola, where your guide will show you around this charming little town.

Your guide will take you to the best spots to admire breathtaking panoramas on the sea. The guide will make sure you will not miss out on anything that is worthwhile.

Together with your private guide you will reach and explore the lovely town of Vernazza. Here you may stop for lunch in one of the nice restaurants near the little port of the village (the price of lunch is not included but your guide will be happy to give you suggestions)

Together with your private guide you will explore the lovely town of Monterosso. Please note that depending on how much time you wish to spend visiting each one, it is not always possible to visit all the towns.

At the end of your private tour of the Cinque Terre towns, your guide will take you back by train to La Spezia, where you will take your train to Florence.

At La Spezia Centrale Train Station you will take the train back to Florence (only second class available, tickets included, 2 hrs and 30 min).
