Stop 1

First short stop at impressive Corinth Canal and marvel over the amazing split of land that separates the Greek mainland from the Peloponnese. The length of of the Isthmus is about 6 kilometers and the narrowest point is where the Corinth Canal has been drilled (1880 to 1893).

After the stop in the canal you will visit the archaelogical site of ancient Corinth where you will admire the temple of Apollo, the Basilica's of the site( Roman - Julia and North),the foundains of Glauce and of Peirene as also outside of the site the remains of the Roman Odeon and Theatre where brought to light.

Stop 3

You will visit Mycenae the "Cyclopean city rich in Gold and with broad roads"of the Homeric Epics.The Acropolis of Mycenae with its Cyclopean Wall, the Lion Gate and the Grave circle A.
The monuments outside the Acropolis - " the Treasury of Atreus and the Grave Circle B".

You will visit the first Capital of Greece, right after the revolution against Turks, in the shadow of the precipitous cliff of Palamidi (216 m high)and the long narrow peninsula of Akronafplia(85 m high) with its forts on the top.

The ancient theatre and the Sanctuary of Asklepios at Epidaurus.The theatre,constructed on the north-west side of Mt Kynortion,was the most perfect theatrical building in antiquity.The perfection of its proportions is ascribed to its parts: the auditorium,the orchestra and the stage.
