Stop 1

Abydos is the Greek name for the capital of the 8th nomo of Upper Egypt, also called the Tinite nomo by the Greeks. Abydos was one of the most influential cities of Upper Egypt, with political importance since the 19th Dynasty.

Stop 2

Dendera was the capital of the 6th Nome of Upper Egypt. The city is located on the east bank of the Nile River, about 60 km north of Luxor. The Temple is dedicated to Hathor, goddess of love and fertility.

The rest of the time you will be traveling from and back Luxor and you will also have some free time for lunch.
