Stop 1

The Valley of the Kings is a necropolis in ancient Egypt, in the vicinity of Luxor, where the tombs of most of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, and of some animals, are located. It was popularly known to the Egyptians as Ta-sekhet-ma'at.

The funerary temple of Hatshepsut, known as Djeser-Djeseru, is located in the Deir el Bahari complex on the western bank of the Nile River near the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.

Stop 3

The Colossi of Memnon are two gigantic stone statues representing the pharaoh Amenophis III, who ruled during Egypt's 18th Dynasty. They are located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the Egyptian city of Luxor, near Medinet Habu and south of the great Theban necropolises.
