Howth is a population centre in the administrative county of Fingal, County Dublin, Republic of Ireland. It was originally a fishing village situated on what is now Cape Howth and was once an island in Dublin Bay, near the towns of Sutton and Portmarnock.

Malahide is a picturesque suburban village in Dublin City located in County Fingal, Ireland. The village is situated 16 kilometres north of Dublin City, on the train line to Belfast. It lies between Swords and Portmarnock. It is situated on an estuary, on the opposite side of the estuary from Donabate.
