After a short hike from our parking spot we will reach the entrance to the canyon at the position Sfakias.The abseils are initially short and easy,ideal for getting used to the techniques and the use of the equipment. During our descent through the canyon, we have the opportunity to admire the constantly changing terrain and the amazing view towards the sea.Depending on the weather conditions,we may find water in the gorge until the beginning of summer which will give us the amazing opportunity of abseiling through waterfalls.The duration of the descent 3-4 hours depending on the experience of the group.The exit of the gorge is at the south coast of Crete,at Tsoutsouros village where we can swim and relax at the sandy beach,the restaurants and cafes.
