Detailed itinerary

1

A beautiful vermilion bridge, located near Hakone-Yumoto Station, which is famous as a photo spot. Hydrangea is a flower that blooms in June, and Hakone is also a famous hydrangea, so it was named Hydrangea Bridge.

2
Stop 2

A shrine with a history of 1,200 years or more. In particular, the Torii (wooden gate) standing on the lake is recently getting popular as a place where you can take unique photos. The vermilion Torii in the clear blue color lake is such a fantastic view!

3

Hakone Pirate Ship (Motohakone Port): A large boat to cruise Lake Ashi. You can enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Ashi and the extraordinary onboard space decorated with French, British, and Swedish ships as models.

4

Located inside Togendai Station, you can enjoy authentic grilled dishes and dishes made with local ingredients while looking out at Lake Ashi and pirate ships.

5
Stop 5

As you ride the Hakone Ropeway, you're suddenly greeted by the billowing smoke of Owakudani right before your eyes. It's a sight that will surely take your breath away. On clear days, you can also enjoy the breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji. The ropeway operates at approximately one-minute intervals and consists of gondolas that can accommodate 18 people.

6

cu-mo Hakone: This new spot, situated at an altitude of approximately 757 meters, offers a stunning view of Hakone's beautiful landscape while providing the opportunity to enjoy foot baths. The scenery from the observation deck is breathtaking, making it the perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate after your travels.

7

Owakudani, created by the eruption of Hakone Volcano 3,000 years ago, still emits white smoke from all over the valley. Unlike Hakone, which is full of greenery, the rock surface is exposed and vegetation does not grow throughout the year. This is one of the must-see Hakone symbols where you can feel the breath of the earth.

8

Hakone Tozan Cable Car(Sounzan to Gora): The Hakone Tozan Cable Car, which opened in 1921 (Taisho 10), is the oldest cable car in the Kanto region with a rich history. It connects Hakone Tozan Railway's Gora Station to Hakone Ropeway's Sounzan Station, traversing a steep incline of 214 meters in elevation difference.
